How to Golf 4 EGR Valve Replacement/Cleaning
Переглядів 194 тис.7 років тому
In this video I will be cleaning and replacing the EGR valve on a Golf 4. I had a check engine light. I took out the scan tool and turns out the EGR was the problem. I took it off and cleaned it with brake cleaner. I reinstalled it, cleared the code and after a few miles I got the same fault code. So then I bought another EGR valve from the salvage yard, cleaned it and put it on, after a while,...

We are building a wood stove or wood burner from an old gas tank. The idea is that it's going to be an indoor wood burner/stove. In this part we'll make the door, put a window in the door with rope, make a framework on the heater for that rope to go in. Welded some hinges on the door and welded them on the tank and we made a door latch. Also we welded a handle on the tank and cleaned the legs u...

We are building a wood stove or wood burner from an old gas tank. The idea is that it's going to be an indoor wood burner/stove. In this part we made the cut-out and welded the door frame, legs and exhaust pipe. This is a build I did with my friend Wes, check out his channel "flubberzwam". We tested it outside and let me tell you it puts out some good heat. In the next part we'll make the door ...

Переглядів 38 тис.8 років тому
Replacing a Tie Rod End on a Peugeot 307. It had some play, and the steering wheel was shaking at certain speeds. Fixed the Tie Rods on both sides, then the car had an alignment, the shaking was pretty much gone by then. Changed the back tires to the front and then the problem was solved, so car needs 2 good tires on the front.

Heb je al injectie cleaner bij je benzine gedaan? Olie wisseltje en filter. Nieuwe bougies. Beurtje doet ze altijd wel goed.

What size are the bolts that holds the whole bar on the car?
The size for oem VW hitch nuts are for M10 bolts ( i tested it), but i don't know the legth! Who knows the legth or the oem part number of VW bolts?
need a new prop bad
I watched about 9 videos on this subject trying to remove the Mk4 airbag and they all suggested a flathead screwdriver. I struggled for 2 hours with no results. After watching your video and switching to a more round screwdriver i had the airbag out within 5 minutes. A HUGE thank you. I was just about to give up. The round screwdriver is the secret weapon.
Friend i need some help. I got a water in oil in the propeller chamber[lower boot] on the same engine as yours 4hp 4t 2007. What can be the cause, can it come from the gasket under the small water impeller?
Where I can buy it

Excellent camera work. The best water pump/timing belt video on UA-cam!
when you install the shifter linkage do you keep it at nutral or forward or backward i cant seem to be able to get it right
What socket bit did you use for this?
Thanks!
My steering wheel locks itself when I try to turn it
Put the key in ignition
The nut you see is a jam nut, aka flange nut or lock nut. It has to be tightened to spec and and can't be reused. Magic Tilt trailers out of Florida uses Knott hubs with jam nuts on some of their popular boat and jet ski trailers and you can buy them online. . This is not a castle nut. No cotter pin. Bearing Buddies are not needed, these are sealed for life, no additional grease other than what you see in the video on the spindle to attach the hub assembly. You can buy Knott hubs that are factory replacements, all ready sealed for life through Magic Tilt trailer dealers in Florida. Knott hubs are made in Europe. Look online. Easy.
Very Useful to watch thank your for your time and effort to share this video with us
My golf 4 stop flashing two light during unlocking the car with remote
Brake hose weenie, lol Got me to subscribe lol, You guys are amazing, thanks for the tips.
No wd-40 to remove screws easily, no copper grease before tightened.
No I used wd-60, works much better. Difficult to buy, but amazing!
@@JackTekkel Nice tutorial
@@Deva_089 I didn't do everything right. But that's life. You learn something everyday. And it's a couple of years ago.
Thank you for video, gonna try that in a few days. That helped me a lot.
my temperature meter in dashboard not working.....is it because the temperature switch?...but radiator fan working fine ..but now i dont know the engine temperature
Direksiyon göbeğinden ses geliyor söküp bakacam ☹️
How may pins is the connection and is it enough to hook up a caravan?
pukka vidio nice one geez 👍
Muito bom vídeo. Bem explicado.
Thank you so much
my bad, you DO show the gear with the "E" mark straight up and the "I" mark at 5:00 thanks
Very good, BUT you don't show the face of the cam gear which has TWO alignment marks. One has an "E" and one has an "I" The 13BB which is a NON interference motor 16 Valve single overhead cam lines up with which? Yes you used a paint mark, but for those of us who didn't it would be nice to know, I can't find this information anywhere car has been in my shop three weeks now, not into trial and error even if it is non interference
I have a 1.4 golf Mk4 and the last time I loosened it I noticed there was lots of sooth on the back side and the car is running rough at idle speed and the acceleration is so poor. Can I bypass it? Because I can't find it to buy here in Nigeria
You can block it, but you will keep the engine light.
@@JackTekkel thank you very much
Well done,..the demonstration is very clear.
Does the pressing the brake pedal in actuality stop the fluid coming out while removing the brass connection ?? I’d thought it would squirt everywhere
Thanks brother 👍🏽
Very good..👍
Where did you buy that hitch.
My Google Hitches and I can't find that damn Thing.
Scrapyard my friend
Thanks
thanks bro!
P1444 maybe you known what can be? 1.4 55kw
Wiring issue or faulty sensor.
Where is faulty sensor?
sometimes it runs fine sometimes not
What do you mean? Your engine doens't run fine? Try cleaning the trohtle body and the egr body under it, likely full of carbon build up. Did you clean the egr valve and the pipe running to the egr body?
@@JackTekkel okey I will try
Very helpful
Good how to! Quick question, would you by chance know where to find the pcv valve on this same vehicle? I believe it might be around the intake manifold on the passenger side of the vehicle? Not sure.
@JackTekkel Thank you for this video helped a lot! Cheers!
Thank you
The rubber bracket just needs loosened, not fully removed.
Thanks for doing this video, I took the radiator out, remove the plastic guard first to clear the fan, made getting to the crank pulley bolts and wrestling it off much easier, same is true of the fan and much easier access to the timing chest and no risk of damaging the radiator core when fighting with the tools in the narrow gap, using a impact gun also saves jamming the flywheel.
easy way to get better access to the bottom crank and undo the 10mm bolts, grab a piece of pine wood, round 40cms long, put on floor jack, position pine wood under the drivers side engine mount, undo the 2 engine mount bolts and lower with floor jack, better access now, when finished, jack up and secure engine mount
If you are by yourself you can gravity blead the brakes. There are you tube videos showing you how to gravity bleed brakes
Thank you for a very good and easy to understand video.
Bedankt was allemaal aan t draaien in die gaten vh stuur dacht dat zijn bouten die eruit moeten. Zijn gewoon clips🤭👍🏻
